People have some pretty strong opinions when it comes to their choice of web browser. I’ve probably tried them all at some point, but just over a year ago I made the switch to Google Chrome and haven’t looked back. While my choice was based purely on personal preference and ease of use, it turns out that there are also some pretty great SEO extensions available for Chrome. Let’s take a look at a few of the best.
My personal favorite when it comes to SEO extensions has to be Feedly. At it’s core, Feedly is an RSS reader, but it has so much more to offer than that! It allows you to easily organize your content by topic, and offers several different viewing options. Already using Google Reader? You can even use your same Login info and instantly transfer your content to Feedly. This extension is perfect for organizing and delivering all of your favorite content, and keeping you up to date on all the latest SEO news.
Do you ever have ideas pop into your head while you’re surfing the web? While making a mental note is all well and good, the only surefire way to wrangle these fleeting thoughts is to write them down. Note Anywhere lets you leave virtual sticky notes anywhere on the web. This is a great SEO extension because you can jot down keywords, ideas, and anything else and it will be saved on your browser for as long as you need it.
Doing work on the internet is not without its fair share of distractions. I’ve yet to work up the guts to try this SEO extension myself, but it’s definitely something that we all could use. StayFocusd actually inhibits the amount of time that you can spend on certain websites. It aims to increase productivity by decreasing time wasted viewing mindless, irrelevant web nonsense.
